This Columbia model 27 was built in 1893 and has serial number 13399. This number is inscripted on the bottom lug of head tube. It is for sale on a specialized website and if you click the picture you will find a link with excellent pictures. Seller sais 1893 is the first time Columbia offered this safety with pneumatic tyres, but I believe this was 1892. Anyhow: it's a magnificent bike, with front suspension and in a very original condition. Please mail me if the link doesn't work any more.
